I am 3 months into chicken keeping and my first set of birds were polish hens. I’ve since then got 3 Easter eggers and some month old silkies. They all have started sneezing for the last month to two months and I thought for sure one of the Easter eggers might have had mareks. I’ve lost 3 polish hens now in a weeks time and they had signs of a vitamin deficiency. I seen no signs of any kind of disease, they didn’t sneeze but they did loose balance and get curly toe paralysis. All birds are vaccinated. Lethargy and weight loss kicked in after the limping and loss of balance. The original polish acted like she was hurt, but the others who exhibited her same behavior died shortly after being close to her. I had seen a streak of blood in the original hurt hens poop just before she passed yesterday.
Today I was watching the hens free range and checking fecal matter because I’m getting concerned and found worms in one of the Polish hens. I only have 2 left. I’m wondering if I can get help with finding out what worms these are and how I can go about treating them. Should I treat all the birds? I have not found lice/mites on any of them but should I treat for that too just in case? I have not been able to find a vet to help nor do I have the money to bring and test all my hens/chicks. The Polish in question are a little over 3 months old.
I do keep on top of poop removal, I keep living quarters clean, I use diatomaceous earth and the big girls dirt bathe, I have a spray that you can use on them to keep mites/lice off them and I do that once a month and spray living area once a week. I keep a fan on them most of the day as well. The worms had to have been from the flies that I can not get rid of no matter how hard I try!

Sorry for your loss. It looks like tapeworm segments in the poop. The best thing to use against tapeworms is praziquantel. It is found in Equimax horse paste, and dosage is 0.15 ml given orally once and repeated in 14 days. What state are you in? If you lose another, I would have your state vet do a necropsy on the body, and test for Mareks. The body must be kept cold, but not frozen, and taken in as soon as possible. Have you tried treating for a possible riboflavin deficiency with human B complex 1/2 tablet daily given orally or in food? What is the spray you are using for mites and lice ? Have you ever seen lice or mites on them? Here is a list of state vet labs to contact for a necropsy:

Definitely tapeworms. Follow the instructions Eggcessive provided regarding treatment with Equimax.
Tapeworms might be the root of the problem that's going on with your birds.
Hey Dawg, I got instructions to treat tapeworm from Wyrop and picked up the equimax to treat bt I keep seeing different dose amounts and my vet freaked me out telling me if I miss step basically I can kill them with it so I freaked out and have yet to begin treatment can I confirm with you at 0.033 per pound or 0.025 per pound? my birds are all different sizes but al EE I got a 3cc syringe so I'm converting to about .1? per pound? I wish math was my strong suit.

It is a manna pro spray, I am giving them all a B complex and the lady I received the polish from said it’s not uncommon for them to need selenium and vitamin E too. I have inspected them as I can occasionally catch them. All birds were vaccinated against mareks and like I said, it ended up with curly toe paralysis with no blood in stool, so I started treating them for a deficiency instead. Only one had a small streak before she passed that day and she had been inside and doing better for about 2 weeks, she was the original one who acted weird.
Thank you for the advice and treatment option! I really appreciate it and this site has been very helpful!
