Just wondering if any of you have experienced this? Since worming my leghorn, she is no longer interested in dust-bathing with her sisters - been like this for about a month - the other 2 go wallow around and she ignores them and continues scratching and looking for bugs. (She seems very healthy and active.) She always seemed to enjoy dust-bathing as much as the others - they'd be at it all together for lenghty periods of time. I told DH maybe it's because she's not bothered by parasites anymore - he thinks that's a stretch.

Don't know, maybe she just doesn't feel like it? Dusting helps keep pests off, but since I've seen brooder chicks do it, I think it's just something they do when they feel like it. Interesting hypothesis though.
