Wormers for pheasants

10-20 mg/kg body weight. 10 mg/kg for control of all worms except tapeworms, which require 20 mg/kg for control. If Valbazen suspension is used, containing 11.36% Albendazole, if desired dosage is 10 mg/kg, this would calculate into the following bird weights - doses: 1 lb bird - 0.04 ml of Valbazen 2 lb bird - 0.08 ml of Valbazen 4 lb bird - 0.16 ml of Valbazen 6 lb bird - 0.24 ml of Valbazen 8 lb bird - 0.24 ml of Valbazen

ETA - use for 3 days, if infestation is severe, repeat in 2 weeks. Some peeps worm once a year, others twice a year. I worm twice a year.

Sorry for my belated reply, but I do appreciate your response. It is very traumatic to all concerned to capture my birds for dosing. I was hoping for instructions on how to dose via replacement water. Anybody got any suggestions?
