worming a hen with chicks

I've got some flubenvet to worm my chickens with, but I have a hen with a three week old chick that needs treatment. the hen won't eat anything until she's satisfied that the chick is eating first. can the chick have the wormer too?

You could take the chicks away while she eats, or use a pour on.

I tried taking the chick away, she still stood there over it trying to tell it to eat the food, she's a very protective mother and will tell the rabbit and dogs off if they get to close, she even had a fight with her reflection in the glass of the TV stand, twice.
