Worming Age?

I have 8 chicks from 6-8 wks old. I don't know if they were wormed or not. Half came from hatchery and half from farmer. What age should I worm them at and do I use Piperazine first? Thanks.

Medicate them to keep them from getting intestinal

I have 5 bantams that I never have either but there's several post on here that say you need to twice a year. So I really don't know.
