Hi,
Do you have to worm chickens? Are there products you can buy at a farm store for that?
And if you do, do people consider that not natural, like if someone wants to buy chickens that are natural farm raised, do they frown on wormers being used?
And what about vaccinations, I read about 2 on a hatchery site that could be given, didn't know if it was needed or reccomended?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions, we're new and trying to get the 411.

Worming is not neccessary, but if you want to keep your chickens healthy, worm them. And again, if you want your chickens healthy, vaccinate them. Any wild bird that can get in your run can make all your chickens sick. That is sick enough to kill them. Are you raising the chickens for someone else's pleasure or your own? Who gives a rats bottom what someone else thinks. Keep your chickens healthy. And if you ever think of showing your chickens, they should have all their shots.
