My neighbor used to raise lots of chickens. He told us when his kids were little, they belonged to the 4-H club. They were told to use hot pepper sprinkles mixed in with their food to worm chickens. They said chickens can't taste the fire of hot peppers, but its a natural way to worm them and still be able to eat the eggs. My girls and rooster are my very first and I don't want to do anything to hurt them in any way. So far, all the animals on my growing farm are very friendly and loving and I don't want that to change. Has anyone heard of doing this to worm chickens naturally?
I believe in natural all the way and don't want to use any chemicals unless I have to. I only use natural in my garden as well. I have lots of grand kids too, so they like to go to the garden and "snack" when they get hungry. (Since all 7 of em are boys, they seem to be endlessly hungry)
Thanks for any info. anyone will share.
