Hello everyone. I'm just a little confused on the dosage and would like to confirm some things. Based on what I read, if my flock weighs a total of 90lbs, I need to use 0.225 mL in 8 cups of water. Does this sound correct?

Also....there are 16 cups of water in a gallon. So if my math is correct. That ends up being 0.028125 per cup, and therefore, .45mL per gallon of water.

Also. I have two turkeys housed with the chickens. I can't find anything on using the Safeguard Aquasol on Turkeys. I don't think it will hurt them but will it throw off my treatment measurements? And will that dosage work enough to worm them as well? I don't want to include the turkey weight as it will drastically effect the total chicken weight.

I hope this all makes sense....Thank you in advance.

This is where I got my measurements:

Have you already bought Aquasol? It costs a lot for a quart and only treats roundworms over the 5 day dosage. I see where they now sell 3 m, for about $35 at some farm supply stores. I am not familiar with dosage but I think @casportpony has some older threads about it. I would also treat your flock for other worms (cecal, capillary, gapeworms,) and to do that, SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer or Valbazen given orally, not diluted in water, is necessary. Cecal worms can be a problem if turkeys are raised with chickens, since those may lead to blackhead disease.
