Worming Chickens ??

What do you guys recommend for worming Chickens. I have large Black Giants.

I live in NW Florida.

How will you know if they have worm's?

How many times a year should they be wormed ? And how soon can you eat the eggs after giving them this?

Do a "search" from the above banner and you will find natural de-wormers with no waiting on the egg consumption. I have also read, from the experienced chicken folks, to not worm unless you actually see worms. Read up on it and then you can make up your own mind. Lots of opinions on byc and lots of info to help you decide on byc.

What kind of worms do chickens get? Can they get round worm? can dogs/cats catch worms from the chickens if they come in contact with the poop?
