My chicks are 7 weeks old and they have Been outside now for about 3 weeks. Can I worm them with wazine 17 as a preventative for round worms? If so is it the same dosage as the bottle says? If they are too young to be wormed, when can I worm them? Thanks!!

They are too young to be wormed. Soil conditions dictate when and how often you should worm. Warm moist soil usually requires frequent worming. Dry cool or rocky soils may require less worming.
Wazine dosage is one ounce per gallon of water.

You can start around the 8th week plus. Since there are many types of worms that chickens can get, I recommend a broad spectrum wormer such as valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer. It kills all types of worms slowly over several days, avoiding toxic dead worm overload.
Reworm your birds 10 days after the initial dosing again with valbazen. Administer orally undiluted, 1/4cc orally to each bird.
Dose your grown standard size birds 1/2cc orally undiluted and repeat again in 10 days.
