Hi guys do any of you free range your hens with goats (Dairy goats). I've been worming my goats every 3 mos. and I was told that I should be worming the hens too. I don't know what to use that won't harm the goats. They share the barn, water pails and whether I like or not the food. I scatter the food on the ground to try and keep the goats from eating it. In pellet form & scratch. Their pooh has been kind of runny lately on some of the hens. And it's just over a year now they aren't laying as well. Out of 10 hens I get an average of 5 eggs a day now. I just added 10 more Hens about 12 weeks old to the flock too. I'm still giving them starter but I put it up height so the goats don't get it and try to keep the older ones out of that. Kind of a pain in the butt. I have to bring the young one in the barn twice a day while milking the goats to feed them away from the others. At 12 weeks I don't think they will need the starter much longer. They free range the rest of the day.

Thanks Pepper
