Is there anyway to individualy worm peafowl? I have 3 that stay with the rest of my birds and I would like to worm them.

yes
I use safeguard goat wormer... it is a white chalky liquid. The dosage is 3cc per gallon of drinking water.
If you want to treat them individually. Id probably give each one 1/2 - 1cc just use a syringe and squirt it down the back of their throat.

eddited to correct dosage... sorry

Are you sure that is the right dose? I ask because Deerman (I think it was him) told me "worm with safe guard for goats (panacure) 3cc per gal of water for 3 days then again in 10 days." I had asked for a peachick I got that was 2 months old?

I ask as I want to know the adult peafowl dose please.

yes you are correct... I should finish my coffee before answering a post

)

Wormer: Fenbendazole 100mg/mL Trade name: Safe-Guard or Panacur 10%
Treats: capillaria, cecal, roundworm, tapeworm
1) 3cc/gal water for 3 days. Can repeat in 10 days.
2) 1cc (bird over 1 year), drench down throat for 3 days
3) 1/2cc (bird between 3 mos. and 1 year) oral drench down throat for 3 days.

I strongly recomend you joint the United peafowl Assoc. We have a very helpfull web site and a wonderful forum.

I will tryu when I can afford it, their dues are higher than most clubs. Anyway, so the 3 cc/gallon is the adult dose, is that correct?

I ask as I want to do my adults and it is easier to put it in the water.
