Hi what wormer do I need to kill all worms in peafowl as mine has black watery poop and is frightening they are eight or nine month old and never been wormed

You would want to kill as many as possible. That's why most wormers you worm for 5 days skip 10 days and then worm for another 5 days.

Give 0.23 ml per pound orally five days in a row.

How do you figure out all of these conversions from species to another species? Or I'm going to have to learn this on my way to being a veterinarian.


I have books. :D but you don't need books, 'cause lots of drug info is online. Not talking about forums, though they can be somewhat helpful, I'm talking about mfg info and online books. Helps a lot when people like KsKingBee post copies of their prescriptions.

@Birdrain92, this link lists doses for cattle and swine. It's for the stuff you put in their feed, but the same mg per kg would be used with the liquid or paste.

And the Parasitic Reference Manual list the recommended dosages as well. Jayden, you may as well buy it now, you'll have to sooner or later.
