So my vet gave me panacur to add to water for 5 days at 5cc per waterer. I just did day 3 and am out. I have lots of chickens lol. She's on vacation and they won't fill it till next week. I have 2 days left. Anybody know which kind to get and where? I really don't want to start over.

Pretty sure Panacur is the same as Safe-guard-Fenbendazole-Dewormer-Liquid-125ml which you can get from amazon or valley vet.com, lots of local tractor supply carry it too. Usually listed as liquid goat dewormer but you can figure out dosing for chickens from the instructions on the package. (I personally don't use dewormer anymore, I add powdered ginger to their feed about once a week and it really does work to keep the worm load low. But that's more of a maintenance thing once you have a heavy worm load under control.)

The Panacur (Aqua-Sol) is water-soluable. Safeguard is not. So, while it is the same medicine, you cannot put Safeguard into the water (it will settle out). Each chicken would need to be dosed individually.

@dawg53 can you advise?

Panacur comes in a horse paste, and is 10% fenbendazole. SafeGuard horse paste and the liquid goat wormer are also 10% fenbendazole and are give orally, not in the water, because they settle out. The dosage we recommend is 1/4 ml (0.23 ml) per pound of weight given for 5 consecutive days. What kind did the vet give you? Is there a picture of the label? There is a very expensive kind of fenbendazole/SafeGuard/Panacur which is water soluble can be mixed with water. It only treats roundworms at that dosage, however, but the oral dosage of 1/4 ml per pound for 5 days treats most all chicken worms except tapeworms.
