worming?

i keep seeing people say they worm there chickens.. i have 8 -15 week old in a coop and dirt run.. should i worm them? and how often. i see people worm them and two weeks later do it again? how do you do it?

There are a multitude of opinions on when, how or even if to worm. Just do a search here on BYC, keyword: worming and you'll see lots of opinions and tips.
I am worming once a year with a broad spectrum. I don't like the idea of worming the young ones though (under about 6 months or so) unless you actually see worms or have them confirmed on a fecal float done by your vet.
