Worming

I am new with chickens, we have 16 twelve week old chicks. When do we start worming them and what is a good wormer to use?

You can do twice a year. If you chicken don't look and feel healthy, go ahead and deworm now. It best to do before they start laying and during winter so you don't loose a lot of eggs. Do not eat the eggs for 2 weeks after you use the medication. The one seems to be most effective is Valbazen, but not cheap.
