For what it's worth I think you did good. I have a hard time culling with mystery problems. If I'm pretty sure what the problem is I can decide what is best, but I hate not giving them the chance when for all I know they might turn around and be fine. You gave her a chance and I don't think you can reasonably ask more from yourself then that.

I just wanted to thank you all for your help, suggestions, advice and support with Hawkface this past week. It was a tough one, but having fellow chicken lovers definitely made it better! Thank you all SO much!!

On a side note...the pic of the week sure shocked me when I came to the site a few minutes ago. That chickie face looks almost exactly like Hawkface! Having it looking at me freaked me out for a second. Crazy!

So sorry you lost her. After you posted about her feeling like skin and bones I was concerned. You did everything right. She was SO LUCKY to have you.
Remember for every tragedy like this, there is knowledge to be gained from it.
