Worms in My Nest Box

Yuck! Today I discovered little worms living underneath my bedding in my nest box. Ew! I'm going to give the whole coop a good scrub, but how do I prevent more worms??? The last thing I want are these pests getting in my eggs or getting my chickens sick. Any ideas?

What kind of worms are they? Are they maggots, or something else? If the nest box is kept dry, you should be fine.
