Worms in nest box - which worm is it?

Daughter found a good sized pile today in nest box. Only 4 eggs laid so we ca

Look like maggots to me. Can you isolate a couple and take a close-up?

Is there something wet or decaying in the nest that would attract flies to lay eggs?

There was a broken egg today yes and this nest box might have been abit messy for a few days but I thought I just changed this box out a week or 2 ago. There are tiny flies hopping out of the aspen. Great just great I don't want flystrike!
