Worms?

Does this look like a parasite or something else? I just got this out of the brooder of my 5 day olds. One had passed for “failure to thrive” no other symptoms. All eating, active, Drinking as normal. All seem to be growing

Most likely mucous.
5 day old chicks are too young for worms to be seen in the poop, imho. Roundworms prepatent period is 5-10weeks in mature poultry, less in youngsters, but I would I can't see it happening in 5 days.
