Worms?

I've noticed on the girls who've lost the weight, their crops stay large. When I've massaged them, I get whiffs of a HORRIBLE smell. Can worms cause crop blockages?
Yes it can, and that is sour crop. The food hasn’t been going down and has fermented. I would separate her for the night with no food or water... then assess the situation again in the am.

Yeah the sickies are separated. The one with the hardest crop got some mineral oil tonight when I put everyone away.

Another update for anyone interested
The girl who couldn't move her legs, is now back to full speed. Ive been easing her into it and she seems to be feeling immensely better, even her wattles are getting more red.
The follow up worming happens tomorrow and ive been keeping an eye on the other girls crops. Seems like those are finally almost back to normal

I know this thread is long done but the same girl relapsed and seems to be worse than ever. I unfortunately think that it's time to euthanize since she just seems to be in pain and suffering. All of the other girls are getting their weight back after the worming and crops staying empty.
This girl has NO body mass and keeps getting an impacted crop. Ive tried oil and massage constant but not having any luck.

I am sorry that your hen still has not recovered. Sometimes the crop issues are cause by things they ingested like plastic lids or similar which will not dissolve and will have to be removed by crop surgery.

Is a vet an option?

Not until Monday. I think im going to try to keep her going until then. Before she reacted well to Caro syrup and blueberries
