Please help! I just bought a 5 chickens from a friend. I have now found what I believe to be worms in their poo. Their tail feathers are pointing down. Two of them are about 3 months old. The others are full grown hens. What do I do?? I bought safeguard de-wormer. Let me know what you think? Im positing the picture as well.

I don’t see any worms, but you won’t see worm eggs and some smaller types of worms. Blood or intestinal shed can be a sign of both worms or coccidiosis. At their age I might worm them and treat for 5 days with Corid or amprollium for coccidiosis. SafeGuard 10% fenbendazole dosage is 1/4 ml (0.23 ml) per pound of weight for 5 days will treat round, cecal, gape, and capillary worms. Corid dosage is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tap of the powder per gallon of water for 5 days.
