First,,, WELCOME to BYC:frow

I do not know if garlic is the magic pill for worms,, It may be??:idunno
The product below is what is recommended at my Feed Store to control worms... I never encountered worms in my flock that I had concerns with. I only keep a small flock of pets.
There are other products out there, Lets see what others recommend.

hello and welcome!
are you sure your chickens have worms? do you know which kind of worms? There is an article by the chicken chick that I go to when I need deworming information here it is https://the-chicken-chick.com/control-treatment-of-worms-in-chickens/
Garlic water wont get rid of worms by itself
Garlic is sometimes used in water along with apple cider vinegar (the kind with the mother) for about 5 days at a time about once a month to help prevent worms but not to kill them once they are already there

Garlic will not rid worms.

This will not rid worms either.

@Gardener Cruz What type worms are you trying to rid?

Hi @Gardener Cruz :frow

We have not had any issue with our chicken having worms. We mix apple cider vinegar (ACV) in their water on occasion, we also feed them cucumber/squash including seeds from the garden, and I mix a little Diatomaceous Earth (DE) in their food every once in awhile. I also sprinkle some in the cracks of the coop, and their dust bath to help with external parasites.

Welcome!

It's great that your chicken's don't have worms, to your knowledge, but none of those things will prevent or treat worms.
