Wormy poop

These worms were wiggling like crazy!

Probably round worm :sick I'm worming mine Monday (ordered mine online); mine don't have worms moving in poop yet but they look thinner, act like they're always hungry but eat smaller portions more frequently throughout the day and they free range which exposes them to every type of worm imaginable out here. Plus, just had to worm my cats who share the same yard and tis the season for worms here. :barnie

When worms are excreted from poultry, they are either dead or dying. Worms cant survive outside its host. A clear photo will really help.

Tapeworm segments move very slowly in feces. The best treatment for tapeworms is Equimax equine paste which contains praziquantel.
Equimax is much better and easier to get rid of tapeworms in poultry than Valbazen. Trust me, I know.
(This not to say you're dealing with tapeworms without better ID.)

The reason I originally posted about possible maggots in the poop was this. It is good that you did not find maggots on your chicken. But we cannot be of much help if you cannot post a clear picture of what you are seeing. Or get a vet to do a fecal test. Flies will lay maggot larvae on poop that has been sitting out.

I haven't seen her poop again which is why I can't get another picture. I was standing there when she pooped, and looked within one second.

Ok. Finally got a pic of another poop. Worm eggs?
We did just get over mites.

If those "eggs" aka Proglottids as shown in Eggcessive's Youtube video arnt moving, they arnt eggs/tapeworm segments. They might be tiny bits of rocks, sand or calcium deposits or some other hard granules of some sort. I've seen them on occasion in feces and thought they were tapeworm segments, but wernt. They are as hard as rocks.

I have also saw those tiny opaque white rocks in poo. I've never noticed those rocks in my dirt and I do alot of digging around here.

I've seen them too - I have a theory on those...oyster shell that has been in the gizzard for a while and the excess is expelled  Maybe? They always seem to be very smooth and polished or at least that's what I find.
