Worried!! 24 hours!!

Last night at 12:30 I saw a pip in one of my quail eggs!!! This morning at about 10:00 the rest pipped..It is now 2:00 in the morning! Still same pips...I can hold them up to my ear and hear chipping on the shell. I have hatched chicken eggs before and it didn't take 1/2 as long! What do I do??

i got the same issue with my hen eggs the same pip hole after almost 24 hours

dont worry if they pip,, they will definitely hatched... but dont open bator and increase humidity.

You can't keep opening the bator to listen to them or they will shrink wrap. Get water in there & raise humidity quickly so you don't lose them all.

I only listened to them once just to make sure they are still ok That was before I made this post.. And the humidity is 65-70 Still nothing..Do they break the membrane inside and then the shell?? I'm jus confused about how long its taking! Thanks everyone for your replies!!!

just to let ya know

mine hatched out just fine

they kept pecking at the hole for ages hours and hours and all of a sudden just started to go crazy and zip zip zip

it was all over in an hour and they where out


so dont worry they just must be resting
