Worried about my chick

Hi guys! I'm kind of worried about my chick. My mama has been sitting for over a month. 3 Days ago, I picked up an egg to candle it and heard the chick chirping inside the egg. So i put it back under mama and let her be. The last time this happened, the egg hatched the next day. Here we are 3 days later and still no chick. And now I no longer hear anything when I pickup the egg. Should I leave it for a few more days? Or is it a lost cause?
