Worried about my chicken

I have a chicken who started acting different. She now just lays down and sleeps any where in the middle of the yard. She keeps her left eye closed while walking around. She just started closing this eye about 2 days. Please advice

She eats, she drinks 22 weeks. Her eye isn't cloudy. She started going to sleep standing up. Just walked over to the water hose and feel asleep.. that kind of thing. We were cutting wood while the chickens were out... I thought she might got sawdust in her eye.. but this sleepiness is worry to me too.

Is it hot where you live? Many of us are suffering from oppressive heat right now, and chickens need to have lots of shade, cool water available, and a wide shallow pan of water to stand in to cool off. Some of her symptoms could be many different things, such as coccidiosis, or parasites. What do her droppings look like? You may want to make aure that she is drinking well, and offer her some chopped egg and her usual chicken feed. If a local vet will look at a few of her fresh droppings for cocci and worms, it might be helpful.

Thanks for the help. I have 6 other chickens, so not really sure which droppings are hers. I found a clinic, I am going to call them tomorrow. It is hot. I give them frozen water bottles and a fan during the heat of the day. I just don't know what to make of her just sleeping randomly..
