My poor duck is not getting better. Both legs are bow legged and the toes on their webbed feet are super close together on one side and starting to do the same on the other side. It almost looks like the feet/legs are dead and when I flick the feet they just pop right back into place. Sometimes the duck does not even put its foot on the ground when it moves - just scoots around. Duck is still eating/drinking. Niacin as well as Complex B is not working. Suggestions/thoughts/ideas are welcome!!

Maybe the duckling is In pain? I am so sorry your not seeing any progress with your duckling using the b complex how old was your duckling when you started him in it. I’d def separate the duck from the chicks with two see but not touch areas. If possible maybe a vet would be a good idea. The vet can evaluate

Have been giving complex B for about 3 weeks. I am putting it on water and over food. Duck is now 8 weeks old tomorrow. Eating, drinking and pooping normal

I would switch and give the b-complex directly to the bill or on a small treat that you can watch the duckling consume entirely. @Miss Lydia can you please provide the appropriate dose? I suspect since you are diluting it in food and water which all the chicks/ducklings are sharing that this little one really may not be getting much. I would also switch to a flock raiser/all flock feed instead. All of you growing chicks/ducklings can safely eat this. She's still got growing to do, so you've got hope still. Also make an effort to give her swim time a few times a day if you can. She may not be able to stand well, but sometimes ducklings with leg issues can still swim well since they don't have to support so much weight and this activity can help strengthen legs. Also time out of the brooder will help. Having more space and needing/wanting to walk around more will help strengthen the legs a bit too. :fl
