Worried about my peeps

Today was first day of school. First day back as school bus driver. It rained steady all day. Couldn't come home to check on the flock. I had all summer to come out and check on them any time I wanted. I had to leave them today. As soon as I got home I went in the coop petted them and gave them meal worms, their favorite treat. I actually missed those feathery little critters.

Thanks for your reply. They made it just fine. I got home and was still sitting in the pen when hubby got home. I go in befor I leave in the morning and throw out some scratch to keep them busy for a while. Got to make a new routine.
