Worried day 6

My daughter 12 has been religiously following the steps on incubating quails eggs ( with my help).

Day 6.

All the eggs are clear on the bottom 2/3rds and dark at the top when we try candeling.


Does this sound right ? Or could all 7 eggs dead?

Can you try getting a picture? I candle at day 9 or 10 which is about halfway and you should clearly see veins by then. Don’t stress about it yet, even if an egg seems like it’s not developing, I usually leave them in the incubator until lockdown

Sorry I can't get a pic as using the phones light.
However the top 3rd of the eggs are dark. Rest is clear as water

It's really hard to tell without pictures. Here is an egg that is about 7 days, I think? You can see the veins. You can see that the bottom third appears to be clear as well.

Day 9 on a button quail egg that hatched lucky cuz it was tan with spots so easier to candle hope it helps hope u got some thermometer s inside incubator cuz normally the built in reader is wrong ps. On the day i took the pics the veins were wriggling like snakes to a heartbeat

basicly don't kill any less they crack cuz candling doesn't always work lost a chick when i thought it was a dud and it was like 3 to 4 days from full done and dont water candle

Thanks. I did get a second. They are both different so I got them to both bein the range
