i got an old incubator and my first lot of baby's are about 4 days away. I candled them and 3 out of the 8 eggs are moving and looking good. one i am not sure about and the remaining 4 i am pretty sure started to develop but stopped maybe Day 7.
so now defiantly 3 of my first ever incubating baby's are looking good at day 17 but the temp in incubator was a little low today when i checked it . i haven't touched the temp since i started and really wasn't sure what i was doing so haven't done much with it, i really didn't even think this first batch would of gotten this far as a few hiccups at beginning i feared killed them.
so my question is how risky is the next few days for the chicks? should i do anything or just t leave alone as i have for pretty much this past 17 days?
OR? will they have a better chance of survival between now and when they hatch if i was to take out of incubator and put under a hen that is sitting on eggs now?
sorry for babbling just first time mummy nerves
