P.S. By the way--the bugs suggestion is an excellent one. At least for now, until you can get the stuff you need, adding some bugs to their diet may help them get a jump start. Insects are high in niacin, and are one of the major ways that ducklings in the wild get their niacin in. Worms are low on the niacin checklist, unfortunately, since they're easy to catch. But hard-shelled insects--grasshoppers, beetles, small pill bugs (I think they're called wood lice in the UK) etc.--and flying insects such as flies, gnats, etc. can all really help supplement the diet. You'll be amused and amazed by how good ducklings are at catching these critters if you release them into their brooder. Just be careful--ants, wasps, and other stinging bugs can fend for themselves and can injure your babies, so stick with non-stinging non-biting bugs. Worms certainly won't hurt, either, so if you have an easy supply of those by all means toss them in the water and watch your babies have a good time.

That sounds good fun! Il give that a go tomorrow, let them run about catching flys and stuff! Sounds like a good plan! I cant wait to do that! Thank you
