One of my 4 day old chicks has poop stuck to her butt!! I cleaned it up but, was wondering what could of caused it and will it happen again?!

what happened with your chick is what is called 'pasty butt'. it can happen either a lot, or not at all depending on the chick. there are a couple reasons why it could happen, though mostly because young chicks haven't perfected the system of pooping. It is important to clean it off right away because if left alone, the vent will be blocked and could kill the chick. Keep checking periodically to make sure none of your chicks have it. it should be quite noticeable and now that u know what it looks like don't worry to much about not catching it soon enough
