worrying too much?

Hi guys,

I have five beautiful hens who I absolutely adore, and I like to think they love me because they follow me around and always beg to be touched...
I am constantly worrying though about them and at the sign of anything unusual I jump onto google and start freaking out, even though it turns out to be nothing...Any tips on how to just chill, and also, some reassurance??

Thanks :)
Disconnecting your internet is a good way to stop googling and trying to self diagnose, which will always lead to you finding a death sentence. LOL

You could always just start a new thread with each of your future "problems/concerns" and get a real life answer right here on BYC.
JUST like you just did with the "bloom" "problem/concern" and it will help you to learn more so you don't worry as much.

Thanks, yes....I need to stop searching every little thing on the internet!

I say disconnecting your internet access because even knowing that I am going over my monthly internet data usage hasn't kept me off the net...I'm still running my bill up daily.

The first year of chickeneering is like getting a sip of water from a firehose.
There's a TON to learn, lots of little things.
As you gain experience it will all be much easier.

As to searching everything on the net, that's fine-it's great way to learn.
Just don't take everything you read as carved in stone truths.
Read it all, then use good common sense to weigh the info,
then come to a logical conclusion that works for your situation.
