If you are positive that your kitten had rabies and you came into contact with it or handled it, or the kitten even got near your other cats and even that aweful neighbors dog, you need to notify the animal control. You may need to have a series of rabies shots. Not only that, but if that dog came into contact with the kitten, it now could be carrying the rabies. It has a 6 month incubatin period, so you may not show or see symptoms now, but if i were you, I would tell the animal control and then they will have to come out to investigate and maybe take the dog for quarrantine. But i am nervous for you if you handled that kitten even before it showed symptoms, you could have gotten exposure to the rabies. If in fact you are sure it was rabies.
no, he had dissapeared a few days so he wasnt around the other animals and i used gloves to touch him and put him in a pen.I probly should have let them put him down right then and there but I just cant when I think they may have just a lil chance.
