Worst. Movie. Ever.

WaterWorld, ugh. Egads. Just so wrong on every level.

"Clockwork Orange" was great for teens to watch back then because it was so different than everything we'd seen before. And you can never hear "Singing In the Rain" the same way again. I wouldn't want my kids to watch it, ever.
Ever.

I watched it as a teen 20 years ago, and it still bothers me. I have forbidden my own teens from ever watching, ever ever ever. That probably pretty much guarantees that they will watch it eventually though "hmmm, if it's that bad I probably better watch it just to see what the fuss is about"

That was my thinking at the time I watched it, pah, silly me.

I can't stand that scary dead woman with the bad hair or the boy with the circles under his eyes. It's like they get in my way, or something.

....while I'm hating let me say I hate Asian animation too.

Can I just say I am proud to be probably the only one living on American soil who has never seen Titanic from one end to the other? Snippets, yes, but I just didn't think it was all that great, not great enough to spend 194 minutes of my life watching it.

I like "Fight Club", too, but it appeals to me kind of way like "Drop Dead Fred." Both are intensely personal films, and you almost have to have experienced what the main characters did to appreciate them. Some people like certain films in exactly the same way that some people like foods that others won't touch. (I happen to like an anchovie pizza about once a year--it's like that.)
