Would 8 days of quarantine be enough for a new rooster?

You’re probably fine to just go ahead and integrate him now (if there was something, he’d have given it to them already), but in the future, try to quarantine for longer and uh… maybe in a more secure pen lol. I do understand that they can be sneaky though- I also have an escape artist (only she’s always used that talent to come tell me about predators) and they are difficult to contain 😳
That's literally what I said on the beggining

I got this rooster 8 days ago, my initial plan was to quarantine him for 15 days but now I am having difficulty keeping him separate from my hens and am thinking of introducing him to my main flock
We are semi-retired livestock farmers and have raised all types of livestock over the years. We always quarantine for the minimum of 30 days. Remember, it takes over 2 weeks for disease to start to show itself. After quarantine period, then introduce the newcomer to the herd or flock slowly to try to minimize the fighting....
Good luck....
