Would a Barnevelder be a good addition to my flock?

Hello,
I'm new to chickens, yesterday I picked up 3 Easter Eggers, 1 Black Australorp, 1 Welsummer and I'm waiting on my Speckled Sussex to come in on Friday.....I am considering adding a Barnevelder too. Would that be a good choice? Looking for a friendly, pretty, decent egg layer that gets along in a mixed flock. (My other options are just get the 1 Sussex and no others, get 1 Buff Orpington, or get 1 Cuckoo Maran). Would love any opinions.......thank you!

any of the suggested breeds would be great additions. The Cuckoo Marans would add color to your egg basket.

My Barnie is LOUD very , very LOUD pre and post egg laying. So if this could be an issue for you I would rethink it.

I don't think you'll regret it. All of those birds you mentioned are lovely breeds.

I love my Barnevelder! She lays me beautiful brown eggs with a pink hue to them.

My barnevelder is quiet, docile and a good layer of speckled eggs. Its my Welsummer and one of sussex crosses thats loud so I think that just depends on the hen
