Would a gander

He might, or he might attack you to 'protect' the goslings. As a kid I had a human imprinted gander, Gus. When he was 3 or 4 years old I purchased 6 goslings which he immediately adopted. Within 24 hours I was not allowed near the goslings. He had discovered that he was a goose and that I was not.

2 options: either you are the flock boss and it is your job to protect him, not the other way around, or else he is the flock boss and it is his right to beat the snot out of you anytime he feels like doing so.
