I'm trying to find somethingn like this
http://www.teksupply.com/farm/suppl...&division=TekSupply&pageId=ItemDetail&isDoc=N

but not having any luck.

One supply store here said they have a nipple that is used for pigs. I haven't seen it yet in person as it is abou 30 min. drive.

Would this be way too big do you think?

Just doing a google seach I've found a bunch like this to get an idea of what they look like and their size. http://www.qcsupply.com/qcsupply/browse/productDetailWithPicker.jsp;jsessionid=DEA14270057584FE0E5DB6BD99FB8469?productId=270111&categoryId=12012&fromPage=subcategory

Would
it work?

Murray McMurray hatchery has a chicken nipple waterer. You might check it out. I don't think something made for hogs would work. Hogs are lots stronger than chickens.

The hog one would not work for a chicken since the hog one requires the use of the pig's tounge to get the water out of it.

My friend taught all of her chicks to drink out of rabbit waters, the roller ball style ones to keep her brooder and pens dry. Now as adults they still drink from those types of waters.
