Would a RIR roo over Cuckoo Marans hen produce sex linked chicks?

I'm looking at buying some chicks on CL. The are a mix of Cuckoo Marans hen x Rhode Island Red rooster. Would this produce a sex link? They are selling 6 chicks straight run, but I want to make sure I don't get all boys.

Sorry, I forgot to say that the males will be black with a white spot on their heads and the females will be solid black.

Thanks! Now I'll know something's up if they all have the white spot.

Not that I mind getting a couple of roos, but I could see how a not-so-honest person could hatch sex links, keep the girls, then sell the rest as "straight run".
