would anybody even read another story?

So I was thinking about putting my story up here but there are already so many story threads up right now I doubt anyone would even read it. If I posted it would anybody be interested or would it just be a dead thread? I would tell you all the plot but then it would be no fun to read if I decide to put it up, But I will tell you that it is a romance story set in the 1900's. Thanks for taking time to read this!
