Where did you get them? The Black one looks like a pullet and it maybe an Australorp but if it has copper feathers growing around the neck or chest it is most likely a BSL.

Hi I got the, from a backyard breeder when they were only a few days old. She said they were silkies but they definitely are not. When I let them out in the mornings Ng they both run at each other and hit their chests. I'm not sure if this is normal chicken behaviour as I've got 2 silkie hens and they definitely don't act like that. Thanks for your thoughts. I hope they are both hens

I would wait a little and post again in two weeks or so since at this point there are so many options of breeds (or mixed breeds) and they are two young to sex definitely.

too young but, a wild guess would be black pullet, white cockerel
