My ducklings are nearly five weeks old and are voracious eaters. They love crickets, guppies, mealworms... anything that moves!

I found a listing on eBay for 25 pea-sized ramshorn snails. They are pretty cheap. Would they be a fun snack for the duckies, or would they ignore them, you think?

My ducks seem to only want to toss snails in the air! They prefer slugs. Of course, they tend to toss large slugs as well. Assume the shell/large size doesn't appeal to them....not sure of the small size (pea size) would make a difference.

Mine eat the little thin-shelled pond snails.

Quote:Mine LOVE those pond snails! We also get those cone shaped snails when our monsoons come in the summer. the ducks go crazy over those also. If they aren't interested in the snails at first squish a snail and toss it at them and that way they will notice them as food.
