Last hatch had an early chick, next day most hatched, 3rd day a couple more. Would it hurt to put a small dish of grogel in there for this hatch just in case?
Thanks,
bel

I am not sure about the gro gel, but the yolk that the chick absorbed provides all the nutrients that they need for up to 3 days. At two days if it was me I would wait till all the eggs that had pipped are hatched and take out a viewing window and get the dry chicks out and put in the brooder, shutting the lid inbetween as needed.

Thanks, I will not try it now. Hopefully they hatch closer together this time.

I wish there was a little door or window to open and reach in to grab them. The hatcher has one big door only so if theres hatching going on the early birds are stuck there.
