hi group,posted a few items,and have gotten many replies!
but now i am posting rebutals against the responces i have gotten.
only,because,i had no experience!!
although i had kept peafowl in england for years,have had no experience here in the US or with chicks!!
WELL,from forum info----,have to add my input!!
someome said,that a yard 30x30 was to small,and cruel,to keep 3 peacocks!!!
well,to that i say---
they have ,at any time,the ability,to fly,jump,etc out and find more room!!!
8 days after removing the netting,all 3,have not moved,but 2 feet away from where the enclosure was!!!!
am thinking of going out into the street,as i know they will follow!
just so they can see past the fence!!!!!!!
these guys,just want to hang out on the patio,from where they were born!!!!
NOTHING else seems to have any interest to them?

That's fine, don't always worry about what everyone else says, everyone has their own opinions...my peafowl hop my fence and cross the street but always come back, they know where the food is. One time my trio left for 3 days and I was worried sick but they had been hanging out in the neighbors lot and when I saw them I herded them back home. If they seem happy and healthy, you have nothing to worry about.

Give them time they are babies, mine have just now made it across the yard after 2 months and looked lost and in a panic, had to heared them to the right area and they now they are not straying far from the barn again.
