would like some help?

Canaries aren't really the "holdable" type, they're kept primarily because they're a song bird but if you're really bent on "taming" them it's an everyday thing. Handle them as often as you can but don't overdo, offer treats like millet when you hold them and only take them out of the cage (to them, that's their safe space) when you can provide a quiet and calm area to handle them. Try to never, ever startle them or be loud around them and let them get plenty of exercise. Just remember like with anything (cat, dog, bird, etc) sometimes they don't like to be held no matter how much you work with them, in any case they are a joy to watch. Hope this helps!
