Hi new to byc. My name is Tonya. Im from Powell County. Have 9 golden comets and a rooster. Also have a chicken that a hawk got and flew up in the air with it and then dropped her about 100 feet. Broke one of her legs. I doctored her myself and after a couple months she started getting around on one leg. She is now my pet. She lays everyday. Even layed all winter. I call her baby. She stays in a run by herself because the other chickens pick on her.
I am also the mother of a drake and hen ducks that I've raised since they were 2 days old. They are now about 4 months old. Jack, is my drake, he is a welshie and Quackie, my hen, not sure what she is but i think shes a mallard hen.
