Would my rabbit rather be outside, or inside with all the noise?!

She would definitely get used to any sort of noises inside, just like she probably has gotten used to noises outside. My rabbits don't even blink at the lawnmower going by right near their hutch, but will act more fearful when they hear my sister playing piano in the other room when I bring them inside from time to time for fun.

It could be stressful for her at first, but really it's up to you if you want to bring her inside or not.

Oh yes!! That is one of the main reasons why I want her to come inside! I have been letting her come in and just run around and i really think she likes it! She has not been around the dogs yet but she seems to not mind the kids and their noises lol.
You could always introduce them slowly like bringing the dogs near her out door cage and then slowly introduce each other! But if you said they won’t be near each other then it doesn’t seem like a problem.

Thanks!! I was wondering, the next time it gets cold outside i was going to bring her in for her first night! There would be no noise on her first night, she would be in a dog crate! But she has not been coming in for too long so I'm worried just being in a new place might give her a heart attack, will she be fine to just come in and spend the night inside?

I sometimes feel as if people dont give rabbits enough credit for how much stress they can handle. Yes they can die easy, but with my rabbits they handle a lot of stress of chickens and ducks and children coming and going their pens. I think unless your dog tries to shake them around like rag doll all will be ok.

What kind of bun is she? Lops tend to have hearing problems and are sometimes completely deaf. If she seems to be enjoying herself on the little excursions, there shouldn't be any harm in bringing her in. Some buns are much more adventurous than others.

I think she'll be fine spending the night, might be nervous/curious, but if you have her in a quiet room, there's no reason she should be in risk of a heart attack. I think something really, really has to scare a rabbit to make it have a heart attack. And a couple of barking dogs/family noise shouldn't do it, especially if she's been inside and done fine with it before.

The heart attack stuff is ridiculous but if she has grown lots of winter fur the heat of the house will be too warm. She definitely thinks of her outside house as her territory and putting human emotions on a pet isn't fair. She is doing fine where she is. Totally your decision to make her a house rabbit. Just know she will chew up carpets, baseboards, walls, electrical cords etc..:frow

Bringing the rabbit inside and then putting her back outside, especially this time of year, is just asking for trouble.
