Would she plucking her own feathers?

She had been with the larger group and I noticed she has a quarter size area of feathers missing on her right shoulder. I put her with the other hen that had be beaten up by the older ones and now its been about 3 weeks and she is still missing feathers.

Can I put something on it to keep her from plucking? Vaseline, or something that would taste bad? I'll check her over real good to see if she has mites.

Spray the bald spot with blue kote. She won't pluck anymore.

Also, add some protein to their diet. Chickens sometimes eat their own (and others) feathers when they need protein.
